UK: Terms & Conditions – Boots Over 60s Rewards In Store Event Prize Draw

1. The promoter of the prize draw is Boots UK Limited (registered number: 928555), 1 Thane Road, Nottingham NG90 1BS. Jet2holidays shall be the "Prize Provider" responsible for the First Prize which is the Jet2holiday element of the prize draw only. By entering the prize draw, you are deemed to accept these terms. Boots UK Limited shall be the "Prize Provider" responsible for all other prizes other than the First Prize.

2. This prize draw opens at 00:01am 16th October 2024 and closes 23.59pm 23rd October 2024.

3. Entrants to this prize draw must be residents of the UK (not open to the residents of the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man) and must be aged 18 years or over.

4.Employees and the immediate family of Boots UK Limited, their agents, or anyone professionally connected with this prize are ineligible to enter. Employees and officers of Jet2holidays Limited, Jet2.com Limited, Jet2 plc or any companies within the same group or any organisation professionally involved with the prize draw (or in each case, their close relatives) are not eligible to enter.

5. a. The first entrant randomly drawn will win a Jet2holidays voucher to the value of £500 ("the First Prize"). Please note, the First Prize must be used by the winner on a new Jet2holidays booking, which for the avoidance of doubt includes standard Jet2holidays, Indulgent Escapes, Jet2Villas, VIBE and/or CityBreaks holidays. The First Prize cannot be used for or redeemed against an existing booking.
b. The next 5 entrants randomly drawn will each win a No7 Future Renew Gift Set.
c. The sixth entrant randomly drawn will win a Liz Earle Superskin Skincare Bundle.
d. The seventh entrant randomly drawn will win a Boots Skincare Bundle.
e. The eighth entrant randomly drawn will win a Sanctuary Gift Set.
f. The ninth entrant randomly drawn will win a Joules Gift Set
g. The tenth and eleventh entrants randomly drawn will each win a Baylis & Harding Hamper

6. All winners will be randomly selected by Prizeology after filling in the prize draw form online and having Over 60s Rewards membership verified by Boots.

7. The closing date for entries is 23:59pm on 23^rd October 2024. One entry per person.

8. No purchase necessary, entry to prize draw is free. No cash option or alternatives to prizes offered.

9. To enter, please scan the QR code on the prize draw leaflet or visit bootsevent.com and fill in your details online for a chance to win. Incomplete online forms will not be entered into the draw.

10. Winners will be drawn at random from all valid entries received. Winners will be notified via email/telephone within 28 days of the closing date. Winners will be given 28 days from the date of initial contact to accept their prize. During this period, we will contact the winner on a number of occasions. Each occasion will be documented. If a winner cannot be contacted after numerous attempts, or declines the prize, the prize will be offered to an alternative winner. Once a prize is accepted, the winner will receive the prize within seven working days. Email address is required to fulfil the prize.

11. The competition is open to residents of the UK who are members of Over 60s Rewards, excluding employees of Walgreens Boots Alliance and any related companies or agencies professionally associated with the free prize draw competition.

12. For prize draw terms and conditions, see back of prize draw entry form. In the event the prize is unavailable, an equivalent substitute will be provided. The promoter will, on request, make available details of the prize winners (surnames and counties of residence). If you object to your surname and county being made available on request, in the event of being a prize winner, you must notify the promoter by contacting the In-Store Marketing Team – D90, Boots Support Office, Nottingham, NG2 3AA. Your details can still be made available to the Advertising Standards Authority should they request this information to assess compliance with the CAP Code. For a list of prize winners, email boots@loveprizes.co.uk two weeks after the event.

13. The Winner may book more than one holiday using the voucher but if doing so, the holiday bookings must be made at the same time and can total more than the voucher's value, but the difference in value must be paid at the same time. If the holiday booking(s) are worth less than the value of the voucher, the winner and their accompanying passenger(s) (as applicable) will not be awarded credit, no cash exchange will be offered and the remaining amount will be lost.

14. Holiday(s) to the value of the voucher must be booked by 31^st January 2025 and all travel must be completed by 31^st March 2026. There are no blackout dates however dates and accommodation are subject to availability. The booking request form sent by the Jet2holidays prize winners team for the holiday must be received by Jet2holidays of the chosen holiday at least thirty (30) days prior to the requested travel dates. Once the booking has been made, no changes will be permitted. If the chosen holiday is not booked by the 31^st January 2025, the voucher will be deemed forfeited. Optional extras may be added at the winner's own expense. Any optional purchases or supplements are subject to the standard Jet2holidays or Jet2.com terms and conditions.

15. If any holiday booked by the winner with the voucher is cancelled for any reason and where that cancellation would entitle the customer to a refund in line with Jet2holidays' terms and conditions, such a refund would be in the form of the payment method in which the holiday was paid for (which may be a combination of a voucher and cash).

16. The holiday booked using the voucher does not include transfers to and from the airport in the UK. Travel insurance is not included. Winners are advised to take out their own insurance.

17. If the voucher is not redeemed by the applicable date, any amount not used in that instance will be forfeited.

18. Where the holiday booked using the voucher is equivalent or lower than the value of voucher, it shall be subject to these prize draw terms and conditions and the Jet2holidays' and Jet2.com's terms and conditions (together the "Terms and Conditions") which can be found at http://www.jet2holidays.com/terms-and-conditions and http://www.jet2.com/terms respectively. Such holiday shall not constitute a ‘package' under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 (the "Regulations") and the Regulations shall not apply, nor shall the applicable provisions of the Terms and Conditions which relate to the Regulations. Suitable reassurances are provided within our terms above, including replacing the holiday with one of equal or higher value. Winner(s) are also provided with an ATOL certificate. Where the holiday booked using the voucher exceeds the value of the voucher it shall be subject to the Terms and Conditions. In the event of any conflict between the Terms and Conditions and these prize draw terms and conditions, these prize draw terms and conditions will take precedence.

19. The voucher and any holiday booked using the voucher is subject to availability. Please note, prize flights are limited on the flights operated by Jet2.com and may be unavailable even if there is general availability on a particular flight.

20. Jet2holidays reserves the right to amend or cancel the flights or holiday for any reason without prior notice (which may include substituting the prize or any element of the prize with alternative dates/property/transfers/destinations at any time, to the equivalent prize value). Jet2holidays shall re-arrange a prize with the prize winner.

21. Please note that the Jet2.com flight schedules are not guaranteed.

22. The voucher is non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash. The holiday(s) booked using the voucher may only be taken by the prize draw winner along with any accompanying passenger(s) notified to Jet2holidays in the relevant booking. Once you have made your booking this cannot be amended. The winner must be the lead traveller and the accompanying passenger(s) must travel on the same dates and itinerary as the winner.

23. All passengers must have a valid passport to travel, and must meet all relevant visa and/or other entry requirements including heath or medical requirements or similar.

24. Entrants' details will be used to administer the prize draw and for the provision of the prize. Details will be used in accordance with the Jet2holidays privacy policy (see https://www.jet2holidays.com/privacy-policy).

25. Where Jet2holidays makes any changes to a booked holiday or dates of travel, no compensation or cash equivalent will be available. Jet2holidays will not be liable for any cancellations or changes to the Prize draw, or for any loss or damage entrants or accompanying passengers suffer as a result of entering the Prize draw provided that nothing in these terms shall exclude or limit the liability of Jet2holidays in relation to personal injury or death caused by Jet2holidays negligence or for fraud.

General:

Entrants' details will be used to administer the prize draw and award the prize. Details passed to Jet2holidays will be used in accordance with the Jet2holidays privacy policy (see https://www.jet2holidays.com/privacy-policy http://www.jet2.com/privacy).

When entering the prize draw entrants will be invited to opt in to receiving marketing from Jet2holidays. If entrants choose to opt in, their details will be retained by Jet2holidays for the purposes of marketing (which may include activities such as passing on information about deals, offers and promotion codes from Jet2holidays).

Where Jet2holidays makes any changes to the prize (including dates of travel), no compensation or cash equivalent will be available. These terms are subject to English Law and by entering this prize draw you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
